Eyevan is a Japanese eyewear brand and purely Japanese-made eyewear. It was jointly established in 1972 by Kensuke Ishizu, who led VAN Jacket, Inc. (a men's clothing company) with Tetsuji Yamamoto, a founder of Optec Japan. The eyewear is made by skilled craftsmen in the town of Sabae in the Fukui Prefecture. Eyeglasses are made one by one through more than 200 processes, such as sticking to detail as polishing the frames many times. The "Sabae brand" has been maintained by overlapping passionate soul of every person who loves making things.


Thom Browne (New York) is an influential American designer in menswear. This fashion designer is known for his shrunken, short-cropped pants and plaid bow ties - geek chic. His eyewear designs are iconic styles from 1940's to 60's and retro futuristic. Each piece is handmade in Japan using the highest quality materials. All eyewear is marked with the signature Thom Browne red, white and blue logo tip and four stripe hinge.
